Smoothies offer on-the-go nutrition, and this energy-boosting, nutrient-dense CBD smoothie is packed full of vitamins A, B, and C and potassium, as well as protein, fibre, and omega-3 fatty acids. These nutrients keep your body strong, active, and working at its highest level.
How does Cannabis and CBD help?
CBD, especially full-spectrum CBD isolate made from the whole flowering Cannabis plant, reduces anxiety and stress, and acts as an anti-inflammatory. It binds to the receptors in your endocannabinoid system, which regulates everything from your central nervous system and chronic pain to mood disorders and cancer.
- Get your groceries to make a CBD green smoothie. You will need 1 banana, 2 cups of kale, 2 cups of chopped pineapple, 2 cups of coconut water, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, and 2ml of CBD oil or 1/8th of a teaspoon of pure CBD isolate.
- Unpeel the banana, remove stems from kale, and chop the pineapple (or use frozen pineapple). Place the banana, kale, pineapple, and coconut water into a blender and puree on high until smooth, about 30 to 45 seconds. Add the chia seeds and CBD oil and pulse for a few rounds to combine.
- Pour your smoothie into a glass and enjoy this energizing and nutrient- rich drink and all it has to offer!
